April Love Prompt: An Inspiring Quote

This year I’m celebrating National Poetry Month by combining  NaPoWriMo’s daily poetry challenge with Susannah Conway’s April Love daily photo prompts on Instagram. Each day of April, you will observe the same photo in my Instagram feed on the righthand sidebar that you see in my blog post along with an instapoem. We shall find out at the end of the month whether this was a brilliant career move, sheer laziness or a fool’s errand.

Until then, care to join me in these creative waters where even fools fear to tread? The water’s fine.

  1. “Instapoem,” eh? Never was such mind-boggling juxtaposition. Nothing instant about a poem! But I must say you make it seem that way. This one seems so simple, but it has an ebb and flow which is not easy to accomplish in a few words. There is a letting-go and a holding-on in this which is very eloquent and speaks to the juxtaposition in life.

    1. I don’t know whether these short little poems are born of laziness or desperation, but I am trying to see how few words I can use and still convey meaning. I really appreciate your support in this experiment, Bonny.
