April Love Prompt: Something Beginning With A

This year I’m celebrating National Poetry Month by combining  NaPoWriMo’s daily poetry challenge with Susannah Conway’s April Love daily photo prompts on Instagram. Each day of April, you will observe the same photo in my Instagram feed on the righthand sidebar that you see in my blog post along with an instapoem. We shall find out at the end of the month whether this was a brilliant career move, sheer laziness or a fool’s errand.

Until then, care to join me in these creative waters where even fools fear to tread? The water’s fine.

    1. I’ve always had a hard time capturing spider webs, so this one was a gift — just the right lighting and a dark enough background. I love that little repaired section, too!

  1. I don’t know about the “little effort” part. The play of light in this took considerable effort on the part of the photographer and the spider. Finding it may be more of a gift than you realize. But you did, so I congratulate you both.

Those repairs are greatly reminiscent of my darning abilities.

    1. I can’t imagine your darning efforts being anything but neat and tidy, Maureen! This was such a difficult shot for the camera, but spider webs are so easy to see with the naked eye once you find them.
