Ukulele You

Day 22: Curves

I see the straight staff lines over a perfectly round sound hole of potential. But it’s those soothing curves built for song that comfort me.

Yes, folks, it’s that time of year again. I’m looking forward to my third go at participating in Susannah Conway’s August Break by posting prompts here on the blog and on my Instagram account. There are no rules, really. Simply take a photo every day for the month of August, based on the prompts or not. I take a photo a day all year long, but you can’t lose no matter how many days you keep this up. And the more, the merrier!

  1. Ukulele! I’d forgotten there was such a word or such a thing, but, oh, does it bring back memories. You are so right about the curves; that uke can just snuggle right into you.

This one is so good! I love how you incorporated straight lines, a perfect circle, and a lovely curve in the the same photo (especially because mathematically, lines are open curves and the circle is a closed curve).
